FAQs – Nursing Counseling Documents

What documents are needed for ANM/GNM counseling physical verification? +
Core documents: Domicile Certificate, Madhyamik Marksheet & Pass Certificate, Medical Fitness Certificate, Blood Group Certificate, Rank Card, Allotment Letter, 8+ passport photos, and Bank Passbook. SC/ST/OBC candidates also need Caste Certificate.
Is a medical fitness certificate required for nursing admission? +
Yes, mandatory. The certificate must be from a registered MBBS doctor (government hospital preferred) stating that you are "Fit for Nursing Course". Format may vary by institution.
What is the Domicile Proforma for WB nursing? +
It is a West Bengal residency proof certificate issued by SDO, BDO or Municipality. It confirms you are a WB domicile and is required for state quota ANM/GNM/B.Sc Nursing seats.
How many photographs should I carry to counseling? +
Carry at least 8-10 passport photos (white background, recent) and 4 signature slips. Some colleges require extra for hostel registration and student ID. Carry extras to be safe.
